PROJECT MANAGEMENT WITH MICROSOFT PROJECT – INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

This is a 2-days hands-on workshop expands further the learnings from the basic level program and dive deep into complex project management strategies and execution.

With the aid of Microsoft Project, participants will learn how to:

  • Define projects from scratch while adding in a great number of details and complexity.
  • Constructing a project calendar addressed in depth, with constraints and working parameters factored in.
  • Project resource calculation and allocation to minimize conflicts and maximize productivity.
  • Master the concept of baselines and how milestones can be adjusted to meet the dynamic demands in a project due to planned and unforeseen circumstances.
  • Create proper presentation dashboards and delivery methods according to business needs.

This program aims to familiarize participants with the basic concepts and commands for project management and planning in the logistic sector.

From this program, participants will master essential concepts and skills relating to the ability to use project management tools and software to prepare project plans and monitor projects – including the planning and management of time, cost, tasks and resources in the logistics sector.

At the end of the training, participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to:

  • Understand the key concepts relating to planning and managing projects
  • Use Microsoft Project to create and maintain projects.
  • Create and schedule tasks, with project constraints and deadlines clearly defined.
  • Assign costs, create and assign resources to tasks accurately.
  • View the critical paths, monitor progress and reschedule work accordingly.
  • Prepare and print outputs, including charts and reports.
